Balinese astrology is significantly more complex than Western astrology. In Bali, a traditional system called Pelelintangan is used - a chart that cross-references two weekly cycles from the Pawukon calendar to determine your astrological sign.

  Redite, Soma, Anggara, Buda, Wraspati, Sukra, Saniscara

• Pancawara

  Vertical axis

  The 5-day cycle, unique to Balinese tradition.

  Umanis, Paing, Pon, Wage, Kliwon

By using the Pelelintangan chart, and identifying your Saptawara and Pancawara based on your date of birth, you can locate your position on the chart and discover your Balinese astrological symbol and its spiritual meaning.
